Long John's, Boots and a Belt is my absolute favorite album and Do Wrong Right a close second.

(Right now I have the songs Black Irish, All Hail and Do Wrong Right on repeat.)

They have a song called Ten Feet Tall with a really unique sound to it, IMHO. Definitely worth a listen

I've been rotating them with NOFX for the last week or so and they flow well together.

I'm in my late 40's and walked away from a fairly lucrative career in the insurance industry to work nights at a non profit.

Fun fact: The Hanson Brothers cover of "Ain't No Sunshine" is ridiculously excellent.

But I can speak very confidently on my training and the work myself and my coworkers do.

We do everything in our power to avoid emergency services in any capacity.

In fact I've only witnessed it once, happening with the agreement of the person in crisis who harmed and then realized they wanted to live. As we both know often happens.

I can't opine on the article or statistics because I wasn't part of creating them.

I understand that you have a report. And I am in no way being argumentative. I think the service is too vital for anything other than the absolute truth being known.

I've never contacted emergency services in my time as a counselor.

Hi. Crisis Counselor at 988. We absolutely do not send police and in fact are specifically trained to consider them the last possible resort. Less than 1% of our calls/chats end up with us contacting emergency services
