Annnd it’s gone. Central Park snow depth today was 0”. In a week we went from 19.7” to zero. In our 1st storm(of 11”), snow stayed on the ground for more than three weeks.

Cold facts: This winter ranked in the 74th percentile for cold (meaning it was colder than 74% of all other winters in the record). 3rd coldest in the past 30 years. Big change from recent winters. 7 of the 10 warmest winters have come since 2000.

Winter is over ! Today is the 1st day of meteorological spring! In the science world, the seasons are based on months and not the ritual of the solstice and equinoxes. Spring is March, April and May.

After several days of blizzard coverage, I finally got time to spend with my guy, Pumpkin!

25% of Sunday-Monday's snow is already gone. Snowfall at Central Park was 19". Today's snow depth at Central Park was 14". Still lots of snow and slush to navigate on streets and sidewalks.

Life update: Reinforcements have arrived. Pre-and post blizzard. Same snow pile different car.
