This movie is an absolute masterclass of storytelling and animation with an heir that can only be found in Disney Animation movies.

It deserves to be called one of their best and IMO surpasses the first Zootopia in every way and I can’t wait for them to see how they expand this world in the future.

This movie reminded me why I’ve always wanted to one day work at Disney Animation.

And while I have a lot of really complicated feelings about their corporate side… there’s still a part of me that hopes I can work with them someday eventually.

Also I looked away for a sec during the credits and when I looked back up, I had to do a mental double take because I saw “Disney Research Studio” on screen.

They really let Disney have a small part in making this film. 🥴

Lemme just say I never really get emotional/teary-eyed when watching movies.

I broke when I got to Elphaba and Glinda singing “For Good”, especially now knowing the full context of their story arcs right before this song.
