This morning, a United States submarine sunk an Iranian frigate off the coast of Sri Lanka. It is the first time a US sub has sunk a ship since June of 1945. This is an act of war.

A little reported fact is that the Iranian frigate destroyed 2000 miles from the combat zone was carrying ZERO AMMUNITION (a condition of the exercise it was invited to participate in).

The ship was, by any definition, defenceless.
