The Anchorage Delegation is hosting its annual town hall on March 14th @ Wendy Williamson Auditorium on the UAA campus.

Delegation co-chairs Rep. Donna Mears and Sen. James Kaufman are excited to present this forum for the public to voice their concerns about our city. #akleg

Plus the urgent reality of actual external threats, climate & the geopolitical implications of it. We are out of time to spare and being told to pretend it's not real.

The federal government now operates like the mob, because of the people empowered to run it, burning up taxpayer money to commit violent fits of rage against the people who are forced to paying their bloated salaries.

Women have served and fought in wars for centuries, whether their peers & society knew about it or not. Having trouble dealing with women being in the military mostly says a lot about the men who feel that way.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but the induced demand principle of traffic means the Kink Arm Bride as a daily commute would be worse & more congested. More attractive in theory, but 1 exit point, crawling to the bottleneck.

Imprisoning/institutionalizing the poor for being poor is an old strategy: debtors prison, exploited labor in the workhouse. Most of 20th century U.S. history is about deciding to not accept so many people suffering & dying, doing something about it.

And people who lead us want those prisons back.
