Attempted to stop at Comic Asylum in Worth on my way home from work only to discover that it has closed down. Sad day.

Tried Atlas comics in search of Sleepwalker back issues today.

The back issues were labeled as Misc. S and I only had so much time to flip through boxes before I had to head back to work.

Only picked up issue 4 from the 2018 mini series for $1. Still need issue 3 from the 2018 series.

Tried a new comic shop today in my search for missing back issues of Sleepwalker. They only had issue 4 of the 2018 4 issue mini series which I’m only getting because it was $1. I still need issue 3 from 2018 and issues 9, 21, 25, and the holiday special from the 90s series.

Alternate Reality is a fun shop. I was able to find Sleepwalker issue 30 here.

Elsewhere Comics was small, but it had a ton of comics. A real throwback to the kinds of comic shops I remember from my youth. I found Sleepwalker issue 29 here.

Tried two different spots looking for issues of Sleepwalker I’m missing today. I was able to find one missing issue at each shop. Only 4 issues left to find.

I have a coworker who regularly hands out food to people. Today he gave me a yogurt container full of cheese and a very expired cereal bar. It’s going to be a great day!

Everyday that passes recently I feel my boxes of comics closing in on me more and more. It’s a burden at this point. Honestly, there’s only maybe 20% that I care about keeping and 80% where I just don’t want to get rid of stuff.

There is a house near me that has a mannequin out front that they dress up. They change the clothes often.

Cindy has been dressed for Bears season for a few weeks now.

The inner struggles are the hardest because I can’t just tell myself I’m ok because I’m the only one who really knows that I’m not.

We all have our inner demons to battle.

After a lot of thought I have decided not to put up all my X-Files commercials this year. I never really recovered from my basement flood emotionally. I just don’t have it in me. Hope everyone has a wonderful October.
