The Premier League still isn’t cool but Serie A is!

The big man has spoken and great to see him back in the lineup, I certainly feel he gives us a bit extra!

There’s a risk of brawls if it carries on as I’ve spoken to many who are sick of it. We’re supposed to be all in it for the same cause but they’re a young team and I suspect some of the players can’t believe it. It’s definitely putting pressure on them.

I came on here to say the same thing about the booing and I know it’s annoying other fans. If I was a potential signing I’m not sure I’d bother joining. I firmly believe that a supporting fanbase can get you over the line in a promotion campaign. People need to get a grip!

I’d support them getting rid of any of the players contributing to the toxic atmosphere. The squad is crying out for more experienced heads to lead in the dressing room, not unlike when Evatt signed Lee and Williams in league two.

I was telling the Daughter when we arrived that the first time I went to Mansfield, we scored after a minute or so, they had two sent off and still equalised and should have gone on to win it. A great three points this was!

I think Johnston needs a rest. Christie at centre back and Cogley at right back, assuming the latter is fit.

It’s a closer division this season but has any team ever won the league with 84 points or less? I think it’s way off the mark this one…

Social Media is a horrible place and that’s the issue. He was thrown in too early by Evatt and his confidence suffered as a result. Then the injury came when it looked like he was just getting going. I always wanted him to succeed and I wish him all the best…

Every team has its off day but it feels worse due to us having failed to win so many games that we really should have. I wonder whether Johnston and Conway could use a rest as they’ve played plenty of games and I think Johnston in particular looks tired.

Not sure I agree with the premier league under 21s playing in the competition mind...

It can’t be easy for our senior lads to play in a game like this but interesting to see that the last time we played and beat their under 21s that Cole Palmer started and Morgan Rogers, James McAtee and Nat Ogbeta were on the bench…

Gale is improving every game. Was his first half performance the best by a Bolton winger this season?

His 60 minutes against Blackpool at home last season after returning from injury was one of the best performances by a Bolton midfielder that I’ve seen. Totally dragged us back into that game. Relatively speaking his style reminded me of Bryan Robson. He should get more goals with that left foot.

It’s a great interview this. He comes across as very down to earth and I really hope he kicks on from here.

Ceesay looked a decent potential signing but the club would be right to move on given the disrespect shown from his agent. Not sure how I feel about losing Thomason, particularly to a rival.

I’d like to say that these people are wind up merchants but at the end of the day he got elected. We need more like James O’Brien putting these people in their place. There aren’t many media outlets that do.

I’m a fan of Collins but I do think we’ve held on to players too long previously when we maybe should have cashed in. We splashed out quite a bit last season on positions where we didn’t really need a player and I suspect this sale is as a result of that.

I hope he finds somewhere. A shame that each time he’s started to perform he’s gone and got injured. Obviously needs to get fit and I’d say drop down a level to try and build momentum.

Neither Newcastle or Leeds are Towns. The demise of towns over the last 40 years or so is relative to the progression of pretty much every city in the UK. Sure he needs to stick up for his own patch but our once great Towns are desperately in need of funding.

It’s not something I would want but part of me does think that we need to sell players at the right time, Santos and Baxter being obvious examples but there’s also a case to say we could at a different stage, have got more for Dapo and Charles.
