Sheβs got such a perfect furious little goblin face!!!!! What a beast!
08.10.2025 03:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I recommend just skipping to the very last episode (or the last few? But I think it all makes sense sans season context)β itβs got some good stuff in it!!!!
08.10.2025 02:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I made the same joke when I watched this bit of the game!! Glad everyone else noticed the fancy hand moves!!
07.10.2025 02:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs an honour to have my pottery paired with one of my favourite authors (& Iβm SO impatient for my library to get their copies of this book in!!) π
07.10.2025 00:43 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah fascinating! Iβm also super picky about cuke-pickle texture β itβs gotta be crisp & snappy, not mushy in the middle. I had a sort of opposite pickle-journey β Iβd always loved everything BUT cukes & then I tried a proper briny kosher dill & was converted!

31.10.2023 13:01 β π 232 π 66 π¬ 6 π 1Hmm Iβm more of a kosher dill / turnip gal myself
06.10.2025 18:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yesssss
05.10.2025 22:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve seen it via a zillion different videos on here & have watched every. Single. One (& MAN I love a batflip!!)
05.10.2025 22:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I popped down about half an hour ago to see how they were doing (Ian is watching in the basement where our tv lives) & was expecting something good (having heard some excitement from the announcers) but was NOT expecting 11 runs?!?!?!? Wow!! Also that Vladdy bat flip π―
05.10.2025 22:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm feeling a rewatch as I wait impatiently for S3. Iβm absolutely obsessed with this show & agree with everything below (also, WHAT a cast!!)
05.10.2025 21:23 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Mithqal's accounts are suspended and/or deleted and he can't post on Bluesky. He's exhausted & has asked me to share his fundraiser. Please help if you can, his son needs urgent treatment for injuries.
04.10.2025 16:39 β π 22 π 24 π¬ 2 π 0A moment of calm from the gigantic (at least 4-5β tall) New England Aster at the front of my house. Pollinators love it & so do I (NE Asters have been a favourite native plant of mine since I was a kid & Iβm so thrilled ours is thriving!!).
05.10.2025 21:08 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hahaha fair! It is somewhat critical of men in some (basically all?) songs!! I still need to watch the Narduar interview β the clips Iβve seen are very charming. Also, I love the sound(s) of the album β when the ABBAesque one came on my ears perked RIGHT up!
04.10.2025 23:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok but she does it in a fun & silly way with lots of bops, soβ¦ π€·ββοΈπ (I was unsure on first listen, but totally love this album / how damn FUNNY she is!)
04.10.2025 12:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I grew up on Keeping Up Appearances & she was a frickinβ comedic genius!
04.10.2025 01:12 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0RIP Patricia Routledge. Pouring out some tea for a real one

Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth Bucket on KEEPING UP APPEARANCES
RIP to one of the greats. If her headstone doesn't read "It's pronounced 'Bouquet'" they're wasting good granite.
03.10.2025 23:51 β π 246 π 28 π¬ 13 π 2Ian & I quote it all the time (& when it was on the radio, would whoop with joy whenever it played, a nice break from most radio ads π)
02.10.2025 10:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Canadian Blood Services had a campaign on the radio that started with a solemn voice saying, βthe need for blood is rising.β Apparently itβs difficult to ask for blood without sounding at least a little creepy!!
02.10.2025 10:04 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One of my favorite anecdotes from THE PREHISTORY OF THE FAR SIDE: "That doesn't sound like the Jane Goodall we know."

A monument in a cute plaza with a bunch of bronze statues, all of whom have pigeons perched on their heads
A view from the train as I reluctantly leave MontrΓ©al. Thereβs a cool modern building with a blue circle design filling the middle of the faΓ§ade thatβs made from coloured panels, mosaic style and the old Farine Five Roses sign atop the old flour factory building
Our final steps-total was about 86,000 and it truly felt like a trip perfectly-done β we ate a ton of great food, walked a bunch of neighbourhoods in casual exploration mode, and planned exactly the right number of things amongst the lovely wandering. What a spectacular city, I love it so dearly π₯°

Another view of the Olympic stadium tower from between the shiny aluminum planetarium building bits
A beautiful brutalist MΓ©tro station with brown tile and a gorgeous concrete skylight that brings light down onto the platform
Weβre home now, but hereβs a little MontrΓ©al goodness from our last day yesterday. First up, Parque Olympique / BiodΓ΄me / more MΓ©tro appreciation (I am OBSESSED with the black sturgeons in the Laurentian tank!!)

30.09.2025 14:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same in Ottawa!! Autumn is my favourite too β I love when the mornings get a bit chilly π₯° Itβs going to be hard to get me on the train home today β theyβll have to drag me πππ
30.09.2025 12:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It truly is! Iβm lucky to have been many times, but this is the first visit in a while in really nice weather (most recent trips before this were in February & early April) so it feels like a bit of a rediscovery! (We just live over in Ottawa, so we need to come more often!!)

MontrΓ©al day three: Mile End, long lovely walk back to the hotel (wondering why my feet hurt so much & then figuring out weβve walked 63,000 steps the last 3 days), one of the amazing pedestrian streets that go from May-October and damn every city should do this?!
