Ah, I thought it could be that camera/lens but the supporting rig looks excellent!

Great footage. While I know it is not just about the camera and lens, would be interested to know what you are using? Thanks!

Sketches of Little Terns at Seaton Carew, northeast England; adults and fledglings

It’s been traumatic for the Little Terns this summer, with a Kestrel treating the colony as an all-you-can-eat buffet; consequently the survivors have fledged and moved away asap. Some are still very babyish in appearance. Adults still bringing in food for them.

Last week, 56,000 #btgodwits were counted in the rice fields of the #Tagus estuary, the highest concentration of the species in the EAF. In this rice field alone, 36K godwits were recorded by drone!

Enjoy intimate vid of Spoon-billed Sandpiper, 1 of 10+ wintering Fangchenggang, Guangxi, South China, near Vietnam, feeding on polychaete worms in its typical habitat, pools on upper tidal flats (much of which, across range, destroyed in recent decades) by local Huasheng. #BirdsSeenIn2025 #Birds 1/2

Here are Huasheng & Prof Aiwu Jiang filming shorebirds that they're lucky enough to have wintering on the tidal flats near their homes in Fangchenggang, SW China. They've built trust with these birds, including Spoon-billed Sandpipers, so the birds approach very close. #BirdsSeenIn2025 #birds 2/2

@birdguides,@RareBirdAlertUK saw this raptor at Swale NNR, Kent, yesterday 1/1 at 12:53 heading SW over salt marsh from pillbox at (51.370784 , 0.94813943). Now think it Rough-legged Buzzard based on plumage and behaviour. What is your expert opinion? Thanks!
