Senate Passes Bill to Avert Shutdown

The Senate passed a stopgap funding bill 85-11 after the deadline, avoiding a shutdown. The measure funds the government until March, includes disaster relief, farm aid, but omits the debt limit suspension Trump wanted. It now heads to Biden to be signed.
