EXCLUSIVE: On Saturday, Khalil turned off a newscast on America’s attack on Iran to speak publicly for the first time about his arrest, his detention and his plans now that he is free.
He said that if Trump’s goal had been to suppress pro-Palestinian speech, the president had “absolutely failed.”

The New York Times reporter gives an insightful – and withering – account of the president’s hush-money trial
The Guardian praises "Dragon on Centre Street," an account of a "drama for the ages" that "captures the personalities that filled the corridors of the courthouse and the streets around it, light-hearted one moment, deadly serious the next"

My book, "Dragon on Centre Street," is out this week! The book focuses on Donald Trump’s criminal trial but it’s also about the way that our institutions have failed to keep up with the 21st century. I hope you’ll buy it and read it!

A perk of vacation was getting to read Jonah’s book today when it came out. It was interesting to read the narrative version a year after experiencing the trial mainly through a blizzard of Slack messages. Definitely worth the time if you’re at all interested in the topic.
