St Mary’s is fine to look at from the outside but I’m afraid vertigo wouldn’t let me get very far up the stairs.

Spanish City was redeveloped as well. Never liked the place but it did have a reputation. Supposedly Hendrix wrote Spanish Castle Magic about it. There’s also the Dire Straits connection.

You must live in or near The Bay Hotel. If it’s still there. Heard it was converted to flats.

Never been up. Had plenty of chances but I wouldn’t even consider it.

That was a good rescue. We have a local tip shop and have got some good furniture (oak table, wooden bookcase) from it as well as garden items.

Spring must be on the way. The neighbourhood sparrows (main culprits I think) have been disturbing the carpet moss on top of the local stone walls.
