Have the stereo '66 as well. As for which mix is better the debate continues (see Steve Hoffman Forums) but it's personal taste and depends on which you want at any particular time.

My preferences for the fist three JHE albums have been interchangeable over the years. Love all three. Your Dylan ranking pretty much mirror mine, although Highway and Blonde probably have equal place.

Have the puppet BOG cover as well. My copy of AYE is fully laminated for some reason. Have slightly more than three copies of EL - first copy I acquired was the French pressing.

I have far too many copies of each of them. The US sleeves have always looked poor in comparison to the UK versions.

Have all of those. Uk first pressings. Axis stereo & mono copies both with inserts. Nice to see EL 1&2 in another collection. Started my Hendrix collection in ‘70.

Ah, but what mix, first or second or maybe later? UK or US? Purely analogue or is digital acceptable? The debate continues on the audiophile forums and still there is no answer.

Mine is probably Axis: Bold as Love, but as far as Dylan goes I can't decide between this and Highway 61 - probably Highway if I had to choose. Bringing it all back Home also makes the list.

They do become unusually speechless and show an uncomfortable need to leave.

I do enjoy talking about ancient Egyptian religion to them. The Horus resurrection and the heretical Aten belief are always good talking points.

Have them both on lp. Also have the cd box set from a couple of years ago. Worth looking for.

There was also The Little Red Schoolbook, if you could get hold of it when it was banned. They thought it would corrupt us. So as we couldn’t read it we had to become the corrupt youth they worried about all by ourselves.

Might just prefer Birds of Fire… just.

Carollane Pegg is an interesting addition but I think Mr Fox (either album) would have been a better choice.

It was having Worzel Gummidge on lead vocals that doomed the project.
