My neighbor Brice is a fiber artist, and a couple weeks ago at a party he decided to teach me to crochet. Since then I’ve crocheted a hat, had a failed attempt at an infinity scarf, and now I’m working on a color block blanket.

It’s the gay neighbor’s birthday, and his husband let me know he wanted me as a birthday treat. Okay that’s a lie, he wanted my cookies. So he’s getting chocolate caramelized white chocolate chunk cookies. The first step is roasting the chocolate.
