Getting back into physical music to detach more from streaming services etc. It's been a real delight. Buying a CD and being excited to listen to the songs physically on a diskman is fantastic. I underestimated how much reliving this again would make me happy.

Farmed animals are exempt from legal protection, not because they feel less, but because in this system they are worth more dead than alive. This is a call to those who feel a kinder world is possible. We need to act and stand up against animal cruelty.

We are fed comforting delusions by government and corporations, who rely on secrecy and deception in order to fool good people into thinking they can buy their products and still love animals.

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. Did some modding on my PS3 today with help from a friend!! 🌸 Was a lovely day. I am super excited to try more games I couldnt before, like Drakengard 3, Neir, Demon Souls, and Folklore 😻

Bought ingredients today to cook up some new recipes. Got Jack Fruit & Artichoke hearts 🌿 Veggies I havent cooked with before!! I also want to get my hands on some Hearts of Palm in future for some recipes. Excited to learn more yummy meals and maybe do some cooking on stream someday in future.

If you're feeling melancholy this NYE or jolly season, just know you aren't alone. I can hear the fireworks booming outside, while laying gloomy in my bed. You don't need to put on a brave face, or fake a smile with everyone else. Things will be okay for us.

I noticed reflecting back that I go hard streaming day after day grinding a run and then burn out and don't stream for a while. I want to try have this more balanced from now on but still keep working on my goals.

Decided I am going to stream Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then have the other days for other hobbies/work ☀️ Will help keep a balance with Speedrunnig so I don't burn out and can keep it up regularly for longer.
