So in case any of my friends were wondering - yes, the "secret project" I was on was Heretic + Hexen.

If you told 11-year-old me that I was gonna work officially on a game I was playing when it just came out, I'd say you were out of your mind.

Heretic + Hexen is the shit. Can't wait to get to those new levels!

I love Doom 3, but the modern Half Life 2 backlash always has me rolling my eyes.

While THPS 3+4 is compromised as a remake, I can't help but think its gotta be one of the top 5 Tony Hawk games just due to the sheer amount of content. The brand new levels are a great feature too.

Deltarune Chapter 3's secret boss is absurd. The feeling of simultaneous satisfaction and relief upon finally winning was immense. Praying none of the other secret bosses in Chapter 5 and onward are this difficult.

I think this is the fastest anyone has tanked a product. An absolute masterclass of failure. Mere mortals can only dream of fucking up this bad, this quickly.

I wonder how many years it will be until I can walk into a retailer and buy a switch 2…

I think so far the overarching story of Deltarune has been intriguing, its so mysterious. I haven't finished Chapter 4 yet, but I really hope I don't come away with even more questions once I finish it.

Deltarune Chapter 3 was great. The episodic format is interesting, there's a bit of a formula that the first 3 follow. Chapter 3 definitely has the best minigames though.

Tokon looks so fucking good though. Pretty excited.

Makes me wonder what happened to nightmare imps between The Dark Ages and 2016, the Slayer must have hunted them to extinction after he missed parrying their melee one too many times.

Pretty deep into my second playthrough of Doom TDA on Nightmare and Id suddenly decides to make the Agadon Hunter a menace. This thing WILL melt you and your shield on higher difficulties.

When I replayed these games last year I found 2016 to be the buggiest of them. This game is great but I do think some people have rose tinted glasses when looking back on it.

Reminds me of the fallout 3 supermarket. Which is like, the only thing I remember about that game.

Dark Ages GOTY

There are no monkey bars in the dark ages, platforming is pretty much non existent in it.

The Dark Ages is easily the most "Classic Doom" out of the trilogy. The secrets are way more detailed and intricate than Eternal's, and frequently include extra combat encounters or puzzles. The non-linear levels that make up the bulk of the game are highlights.
