Have you somehow missed the part where they are rounding up and deporting people who are in the US LEGALLY? Naturalized citizens, people with VALID work permits and student visas?

I think it may be a “Field of Dreams” situation.
If they build it (robust network of charging stations) they will come (consumers/buyers). I expect we’ll buy one within a few years, but not making a cross country trip without the infrastructure in place.

Too aggressive for Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association, according to their Pres and CEO Brian Kingston. He was on CBC yesterday saying the targets were unachievable in that time frame and would decimate the industry. We need the charging stations to support that volume of users as well.
