The Mike Reid Show was a one-off variety show broadcast on BBC 2 on 4 February 1976. The show was a success and 5 more shows were broadcast in 1977 & 1978. Love in a Cold Climate is a 2 part adaptation of Nancy Mitford's novels The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. It was broadcast on BBC One on 4 & 11 February 2001. In 1930s Britain, three young aristocratic women find love as the world around them slowly descends into war. The cast includes Rosamund Pike, Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, Megan Dodds, Alan Bates, Celia Imrie, Anthony Andrews, John Wood, Sheila Gish, John Standing, Jemima Rooper, John Light, Samuel Labarthe, Daniel Evans, Frances Barber and Anna Popplewell. A BBC production in association with WGBH Boston (PBS).

The Lock Up is an observational documentary series following the staff of the custody suite at Priory Road Police Station in Hull. It was broadcast from 4 February 2011 to 25 March 2013 on BBC Three. 2 series totalling 14 episodes were made. Around 6,500 prisoners passed through the suite, and the issues custody officers had to deal with included attempted suicides and a range of troubled people including drug addicts, minors and violent individuals. The first series was narrated by Anna Baatz, series 2 by Chasity Van Velzen.

ZeroZeroZero is an 8 part Italian crime drama series based on the non-fiction book of the same name. It was shown in the UK on Sky Atlantic from 4 February to 25 March 2021. The series is a study of the business around the drug cocaine, covering its movement across continents. The American Lynwood family controls an international shipping company which acts as a cocaine broker between Mexican and Italian organized crime. The series derives its name from the whitest, finest-milled type of wheat flour (000), which is the nickname for the purest cocaine on the market. Tony Steedman was born on 21 August 1927 and passed away on 4 February 2001 at the age of 73. He was a character actor. Tony is best known for roles in television series such as Crossroads, The Feathered Serpent, Thriller, The Professionals, Department S, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Coronation Street, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, The Avengers, Babylon 5, The Sweeney, Minder, Citizen Smith, In Suspicious Circumstances, The Golden Girls and My Two Dads.

Barry Cockcroft was born on 4 October 1932 and passed away on 4 February 2001 at the age of 68. He was a television documentary director, writer and producer. Cockcroft is best known for his documentary Too Long A Winter about the lady, Hannah Hauxwell who lived alone on a remote farm in the Pennines. One of many shows he was a part of at Yorkshire Television. Barry joined Yorkshire Television at its inception in 1968 as a researcher. He was making short films about people who lived in the Yorkshire Dales and went on to write best selling books about Hannah Hauxwell and took her around Europe and to North America for further documentaries. Other television work made by Cockcroft includes A Romany Summer, The Underground Eiger, World Tomorrow, Making a Living, The World of Whicker, Hannah Hauxwell: Innocent Abroad, First Tuesday, Hannah Goes to Town, Once in A Lifetime..., Calendar Special, How We Used to Live and The Flaxton Boys.

The Ultra Zionists is a documentary by Louis Theroux broadcast on BBC Two on 3 February 2011. In the film, Theroux investigates ultranationalist Jewish settlers in East Jerusalem, Hebron and Nablus within the Israeli occupied West Bank, Palestine. The documentary also follows Theroux as he tours the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem with Daniel Luria of Ateret Cohanim.

The IT Crowd is a television sitcom originally broadcast by Channel 4 from 3 February 2006 to 27 September 2013. 4 series totalling 25 episodes were broadcast. Set in the offices of the fictional Reynholm Industries in London, the series revolves around the staff of its IT department. Office Gossip is a 6 part sitcom that aired on BBC One from 2 February to 9 March 2001. Written by Paul Mayhew-Archer and George Pritchett. Set in the office Tippins Toys Ltd, Office Gossip concentrates on the love lives of Jo and Simon, who sit opposite each other. Jo is a single mother and is the hardworking PA to Rod Battle. Battle, a workaholic whose wife is on the verge of leaving him, confides in Jo and she clearly harbours feelings for him. Meanwhile, Simon is having an affair with his married boss, Maxine. Both of these relationships, especially Jo and Rod's, become the subject of gossip in the office, often led by Cheryl. Lazarus and Dingwall are a somewhat unconventional duo in a more than slightly unconventional police department. The chief's both eccentric and incompetent, and everyone else in Really Serious Crimes is equally oddball, from desk worker and the object of Dingwall's affections, Beverly Armitage, to the plain clothes duo. The cast includes Mark Arden, Stephen Frost, Peter Bland, Race Davies, Simon Godley, Neil Mullarkey, Jim Findley, Jeremy Gittins, Kay Stonham, Kenny Ireland, Lionel Blair, Paul Williamson, Stanley Unwin and Robert Bathurst.

Ask No Questions is a gameshow that began as a regional programme for Yorkshire Television from 1 February 1986. It became networked for 12 of the 15 ITV regions in 1987. It was not shown in the Granada, Central and TSW regions. Teams were given a subject and asked to name as much relevant material as possible. For example, Pink Panther films with a possible score of 6. So the team had to think of as many of the six as they could with a point for each one. Presented by John Junkin with Carol Vorderman. Survival is one of television's longest running and most successful nature documentary series. It was first broadcast on ITV from 1 February 1961. The series was created by Aubrey Buxton (later Baron Buxton of Alsa), a founder director of Anglia TV. The first Survival (filmed with help from Associated-Rediffusion) featured the wildlife of London and was introduced by Buxton standing beside the lake in St James's Park, on a derelict bomb site and at other locations accessed in his Bentley. The Drowning is a 4 part television thriller drama miniseries broadcast on Channel 5 from 1 to 4 February 2021. Jodie Walsh is a woman with a struggling business and money problems. She has been trying to rebuild her life after the loss of her four year old son, Tom, from drowning. His body was never recovered. Nine years later, she sees a boy who looks like an older version of her son. Faced with skepticism from her family and the police, she sets out to find the truth. The cast includes Jill Halfpenny, Jonas Armstrong, Deborah Findlay, Rupert Penry-Jones, Babs Olusanmokun, Jade Anouka, Cody Molko, Dara Devaney and Deirdre Mullins.

Class Dismissed is a children's sketch comedy series broadcast on the CBBC Channel from 1 February 2016 to 10 December 2021. 6 series totalling 66 episodes were broadcast plus a one-off spin-off programme Flunked! The series follows a school day at the fictional Dockbridge High (Series 4 - 6 focuses on Quayside Academy) where 'nothing out of the ordinary ever happens' – unless you count the stunt diving supply teachers, explosive science classes and hazardous baked bean moments! Great American Railroad Journeys is a travel documentary series presented by Michael Portillo and broadcast on BBC Two from 1 February 2016 to 28 March 2020. 4 series totalling 55 episodes were broadcast. Using an 1879 copy of Appleton's Guidebook to the railroads of the United States and Canada, Portillo travels across the United States and Canada primarily by train, though at times using other forms of transportation where necessary. On his journeys, he makes stops to learn how places, events and people, and the railroads of the 19th century influenced the country's growth into a major superpower. A Boundless production for BBC.

Rise of the Superstar Vloggers is a one-off documentary programme broadcast on BBC Three on 1 February 2016. YouTube personality Jim Chapman interviews several famous YouTubers to find the root cause of the rise of vlogging. Taking part in the programme were Jonny Benjamin, Alfie Deyes, KSI, Ingrid Nilsen, Tyler Oakley, Dom Smales, Ellen Helsper, Rhett McLaughlin, Link Neal, Sam Chapman, Nicola Chapman, Sami Maria, Laci Green, Lex Croucher, Tom Ridgewell and Joe Sugg. Elisabeth Sladen was born on 1 February 1946 and passed away on 19 April 2011 at the age of 65. She was an actress. Sladen became best known as Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who from 1973 to 1976 and from 2006 to 2010. She also reprised the role in Doctor Who: The Five Doctors in 1983, Downtime in 1995 and Doctor Who: Dimensions in Time in 1993. Elisabeth also portrayed Sarah Jane in the spin-offs K-9 and Company in 1981, The Sarah Jane Adventures from 2007 to 2011 and Sarah Jane's Alien Files in 2010. Her other television roles were in Coronation Street, Z Cars, Doomwatch, Public Eye, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Special Branch, Stepping Stones, Send in the Girls, Take My Wife, In Loving Memory, Dempsey and Makepeace, The Bill, Men of the World, Peak Practice, Faith in the Future and Numbertime.

Jack Milroy was born on 28 December 1915 and passed away on 1 February 2001 at the age of 85. He was a comedian. Milroy is noted for his partnership with his fellow comedian Rikki Fulton as Francie and Josie. The pair appeared together as lovable Glasgow teddy boys on television, in theatres across Scotland and in pantomime for over 35 years. Jack also appeared on television in The White Heather Club, Garrison Theatre and Rab C Nesbitt.
