The Rule of Law Is Dead in the US The rule of law presupposes that there are rules that provide a consistent, repeatable, and knowable set of outcomes. That’s no longer the case.

This will have to count as my Supreme Court term review.

I make that point that there's no point in reviewing what the Supreme Court has done because the rule of law is dead in this country anyway.

Part 1: I think this kind of white plain speak is in dire need. One of the reasons many white Americans I know hate MSNBC even though they may share the same values is bc they speak at a higher class level. I have met many young men who do not understand the vocabulary. So, they label them elites.

If the deficit is imaginary (and MMT shows that it is) I think we should give each billionaire a trillion dollars on the condition that they go away to their private libertarian islands with their sex bots and leave the rest of the world alone.

According to Modern Monetary Theory, the national deficit is just a made-up idea to clobber programs for the common good. Once Congress approves funding a program, the money is created out of thin air. If inflation comes taxes take back money. Democrats, don't buy into the deficit myth.

I have never seen this extraordinary description of the elites cozying up to the mob. Hannah Arendt's words are almost prophetic.

I would now like to suggest that we purchase billionaires greed, which exists in ample quantity, by paying each of them one trillion dollars in exchange for them leaving the U.S. and getting out of our politics.

I wish more Democratic leaders would read @stephaniekelton.bsky.social The Deficit Myth, which shows that the U.S., with its sovereign currency, can create as much money as needed to purchase anything that exists in sufficient quantities.
