I'm 53 and I have lived here 35 years. I have been reading TPM since Josh was a lone blogger working out of a Starbucks and your headline shocked me. Here's a pic I took of the "divided scene". The city was even emptier than it is on Christmas. Doing a "both sides" here ain't it, as the kids say.

Um so yeah, we are not at all "divided". I live here and DC votes solid blue - 92% in the last election. The city was purposefully empty to ignore dipshit Donnie. We are probably one of the most united cities on the issue of Trump & headlines that intimate otherwise play into his divisive hand.
