I don't fully agree. Europe has developed its ties to other trading partners, so it's less dependent on the U.S. We are fast becoming a pariah state, so Europe will find other sources of oil and LNG, like Canada, Norway, and Saudi Arabia. Europe has already stuck out its tongue at America.
