Alright, my story's new cover has been finished, well there is some things I could do to improve it which I'll likely do over time but for now? It's good enough to replace the old

Yeah my main villain for my first story has the actually good first name "Keireen" so it's "King Keireen" then I gave him parents when I wrote the story and realised I now gave him the somewhat lackluster last name "Birt"

Ye especially if there is a reason for them (whether or not that reason was made before the names or not)

It's fine, little confusing sometimes but oh well. Meanwhile me being just as bad with:

Liara and Linra
Farenhale and Farenisle
Erinia and Erina

And likely others I can't remember/ can't find in notes

Fair enough, have you tried deleting the material and just making a new one to see if it applies a new one right? I'm just spit balling ideas here myself given I don't know much about your scene or settings so given general ideas as much as I can

I don't believe so, just trying to figure it out. Is the model all one object or several objects? if so then I can see another white piece so I'm wondering if those other bits have gotten that white material assigned on accident at some point

I took this last earlier before doing some additional work and I feel I accidentally made a really random and weird meme template while working on this lol

Strange, is it also the same red material as the one on the cube? Cause if so then it's even weirder

How's the material on the legs looking? Does the material still say it should be red?

Once you've got a camera and lighting set up you just hit f12 for a single render image or for an animation (if needed here) Ctrl f12 however it will go out as multiple single images you then make into one video file unless you mess with the appropriate settings

Forgot the obligatory mention of blender so it goes to the right feeds lol.

Still got more to do and in general fix up but hey this is working out so far

It's incredible simple, unneeded and stupid but it makes me happy

I'm still not great when it comes to Blender's geometry nodes, I've got a couple generators that I SOMEWHAT understand from tutorials but I still am bad with them however while working on a project I had the sudden idea to do just a simple item switcher

I'd assume that's whats up without the details, I remember having a very similar reaction of "wtf" when I rendered an anim for the first time

By default blender renders out each frame to it's on image in the tmp folder, this is generally so that if something goes wrong you don't have to render it all again then you just put it all into the video editor in blender to make it one file. You can switch it however to do the latter first

I started doing similar a while back, not got nearly as much (nor as well done stuff damn) but it more than helps having Geo node generators, weapons, armours etc there for me to pull easily in their respective files for whatever project

Honestly for me it's basic 3d modelling, not sculpting or anything but effectively box modelling. I've gotten to a point where I can make generally what I think of in my head and that makes me feel good

A great milestone. It doesn't need to be the most detailed thing in the world. You can do a lot with minimal details but all that matters is you're somewhat happy with it and you are so that is great

With the new graphics tablet giving me the motivation I'm now trying to learn how to draw (feels funny going to it after 5 nearly 6 years of blender) Currently just trying to improve my abilities so I've got this all going through my mind constantly lol.

Just in case it doesnt let you do that again in the future. Note the auto save feature in File > Recover > Auto Save. All too few people know about that and it is BEYOND valuable in saving your ass if blender crashes

You can always pick up a new skill so long as you've got the motivation, I've been learning blender for a while to the point I am happy with what I make and now I am also learning to draw

Well that is amazing, my first time using blender was early 2020 and I cannot imagine my life without it these days as it became a very beloved hobby I'd have otherwise not found out about for a long time. Heres to many more birthdays for Blender
