Idk, playing flash games with arrow keys growing up and then when I got into touhou I found that keyboard often was better than standard controller so while I prefer a stick for shmups nowadays I'm fully capable of being equally as skilled with keyboard if I'm too lazy to pull out my stick

I like how the DS version of RE1, as well as Revelations (originally a 3DS game), makes Jill's butt way more pronounced. I imagine Miyamoto called Capcom & was like "all right, you can put your game on our new handheld - but you BETTER give Jill some cake" lmao

While the campaign in GVGNP is really good and also very hard with how it makes you consider suit-picks, I think this one so far is also so fucking solid and stands on the same level. So far I've had multiple moments where I needed to rethink that suit I was using because the mission called for it.

Out of all of them, it's insane that this campaign will regularly throw 5 or more enemies at you at once, very rarely is it sitting within the standard 2v2 format it's always doing *some shit* to make the missions way more interesting.

I can now see more clearly why Extreme Vs Force exists.

Maybe I'm out of pocket but I'm kind of shocked at the turnaround people are giving Marathon considering it's a sham reboot of a dead franchise that got caught plagiarizing an artist for their entire aesthetic to the point where the game couldn't be shown for months.

I often think about Araki's description of the Midwest from his time here doing research for Steel Ball Run. I think he nailed it.

Yosuga no Sora has been eating my brain lately, idk if I wanna rewatch the anime first then read the VN or the other way around but I just know I wanna hear that main theme and exist in that quiet, wistful, romantic atmosphere it has.
There really is nothing like it.

At this point the only way gamers will every truly understand what "remaster" actually means is to just call it a Recomp or a Source port.

I don't want "faithful remakes" I want either a completely new game or a direct PC port of the original completely intact, something closer to a "recompilation" than anything else

If you NEED to do a remake go the Falcom way of: New name, basically whole new game, just the same story retold.

I'm still mad the steam port of RF3 is so expensive and removes one of the best game openings ever and replaces it with the most personality-less shit ever.
