so yeah if its not obvious, this is why i don't actually reach out to people despite how often i say i'm going to, and why i'm so terrible at keeping conversations going. but i'm trying, man. its just hard

i know that's not exactly a healthy way to go about it, and i've tried my best to stop and just be normal about it, but its just where i've found myself. i just want to be able to have friends again and not feel like something bad is going to happen all the time.

despite my best efforts, i find myself constantly thinking about the worst case scenarios in these situations so even people i know deep down are generally good people and i get along with well, i've started subconsciously putting up a barrier because i'm scared of getting hurt that bad again.

i can't/won't go into specifics, but because these things keep happening, it makes it even harder to even try to reach out to people to try and make friends or even just talk to someone i'd already call a friend, because what's stopping it from happening again?

but over the last few years, whenever i do end up meeting new people, they tend to end up leaving my life in an explosive way that manages to make it still hurt despite being mostly numb to people leaving.

the part that i find myself struggling with so bad as an adult isn't that, its where those two things meet in the middle. i'm a mentally ill unemployed college dropout that yells about video games on the internet, i don't often get the opportunity to meet people in the first place.

so i've struggled my whole life with making friends, i've bitched about this a lot in the past, this is nothing new. and because i moved around a lot as a kid i always had a hard time keeping them, but that became normal after a while, yk? it can suck and it can hurt but yk that's just part of life.

so i'm in a weird mood so i'm gonna work through some shit on the tl again

I don't like this game. Every single part of this game is worse than the previous ones. It made me absolutely miserable to play through. There are a couple alright songs, but they were surrounded by ones that made me feel like my ears were bleeding. 2/10
