Seriously.... this one hits a little close.

My cat has such a dire love affair with plastic, that she will, on nearly a daily basis, work her way through the house to check-in on every piece of plastic she knows about in the house. I call it plastic surfing. Like a dragon making sure every gold coin is properly in place.

Cold weather warnings yesterday. They recommend that in icy conditions you should always travel with a shovel, blankets, 24 hours worth of food and drinks, rock salt, de-icer spray, torch and batteries, first aid kit and a set of jump leads. I felt a right idiot on the bus.

Heh. My morning started out by accidentally dropping one of my ibuprofen tablets into my coffee this morning. It was more than half dissolved by the time I was able to rush to the kitchen to shuffle the coffee into another cup. Guess that's one way to take them. Bottoms up!

On a whim I checked my local public library system website for fun upcoming events (because I finally have a bit of bandwidth for such things) and found a _ton_ of good stuff coming up!
