thank you. I was lucky enough that this image came with textures i did not have to adjust in any way beyond resizing them which is a godsend because normal maps still seem to have a mind of their own ^^;

thank you *^^* went a little crazy with the asset but I couldn't find a "realistic" looking crescent moon for what i had originally planned so this happened instead.

Thank you Petrigrof and @nikjima.bsky.social for helping me with my not so slow descent into madness. I shall now proceed to mess up my game with junk assets <3 and love it

Yeah it was the mesh, and Tabard works perfectly thank you! So I just need to figure out a surefire way for exporting normal Bakes and I guess I can mess with stuff now :3

oooooh ok. I'm testing a free asset now that came with its own textures that I adjusted and saved as dds... we'll see how it will look in game and if decent then my previous issues were on messing up the mesh :3

ok so definitely have some vertices flipped and I *think* I fixed it but tbh I'm just so tired today I will just remake the lollipop tomorrow and remake textures. Question tho - does it matter what material resource we are using to make/add our own textures?

You're amazing T_T I think I need to revisit my meshes at first to figure out if maybe .. what was it.. if the vertices are facing the correct way? And then most important thing will be to figure out why sometimes I can bake the normal map and sometimes I get flat lavender ;_;
