I'm seriously considering just putting Linux on it, since I don't use it for anything that Linux can't do. It sucks because I bought it specifically so I'd have a machine that supported Windows 11, but I don't want to have to deal with this on a computer I pull out once in a blue moon.

The fact that Windows has broken itself so badly on it's own boggles my mind. I *know* that a fresh install every once in a while is a good idea, but I shouldn't have to do it on a machine that's been used very lightly for Facebook, Youtube and Discord after only 3 months.

I could see these problems happening with a computer that's seen heavy use, since Windows is known to get bogged down as time goes on. But I want to be clear: I've installed very little on it (and nothing new since I first got it) and it's seen only a little use. Most of the time, it's been off.

Now, apps will just randomly decide to not load. Just gives a vague error, with "More Info" just loading the MS Store. A second attempt to load the app seems to work fine. Google's no help, either, error is just generic. This was probably caused by the rollback.

I know that problem couldn't have been an update BTW, because those broke a month ago! It tries to install, gets to 100%, then gives a generic error code. Got it to work once w/some fixes from Google, but since then nothing I do will work.

For example: it freezes randomly when booting. Up until yesterday, a hard reboot usually fixed it, but no dice this time. Tried the normal recovery, didn't work. Finally let it work by loading a restore point (more on why that's funny later.)

My god, Windows 11 is fragile. Fresh machine, wiped and reinstalled myself. I've used it maybe a dozen times since then, mostly for web browsing and discord. Even then, Things just keep breaking for what seems to be no reason, and I'm totally stumped on how it can be this bad.
