A first hybrid, from the rare Amorphophallus dracontioides and Amorphophallus aphyllus.
Standing 35cm from soil to top of the hooded spath, it looked like it was straight out of a modern Sci-fi.

It’s been a year today since I went on what I can only describe as a wild goose chase, chasing Auroras in Far North Queensland. It is hard to believe but I managed to capture it only 16° South of the equator. Setting the record for the furthest north Aurora capture in the Southern Hemisphere

Starting out here with a stunning Amorphophallus titanum that my friend grew in his backyard, from last week. What a beauty 🤩 Do hashtags work here? I have no idea. I’m a newbie here. But I’ll give it a go. #Amorphophallus Great to start the migration away from the Metaverse and the toxic place it has become. I am looking forward to seeing the future of where Bluesky will go.
