Oh, but since this is a big load of laundry, I have to go back down again now to restart the dryer cycle, and then have my partner do the same when he gets home from work in an hour or so.

So I go downstairs to wash some clothes, only to find that my washer did this fun thing it does where it shakes the power cord loose during the spin cycle; the clothes that were washing never finished 🙃

I went down again to check on it; it was mid-rinse cycle. I came back upstairs for the oxyclean

I don't recognize more than a handful of names, and it looks like they're up to the same old tricks of bringing in largely non-English speaking athletes under false pretenses & not explaining that national accreditation means jack shit next to regional accreditation (which they STILL don't have lol)

For those who may not know or have forgotten, I used to work in admissions at a tiny, super religious college in North Carolina. They treated me badly and misled a LOT of students.

Every once in a while, I look in on their webpage to see how things are going there (I've yet to be impressed).

Today would have been my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. This somehow hits harder than her birthday did back in August. It's the first year I didn't get to make a call to let my grandma know I was thinking of her on her special day.

But I'm still thinking of her, and my grandpa, always.

How many times will I have to explain to LinkedIn that I'm not hiring for ANYTHING? I don't hire. I barely have a job, much less any authority.

1) nobody has time to be depressed
2) depression doesn't care if you're busy
3) willing yourself to force through symptoms bc you have stuff to do is only effective for mild-medium depression, not severe
4) it's a shitty thing to say
