A small wall hanging quilt with a line drawing of a cat in a star like center. The star is beige and has mauve fillings between the spikes to make it a circle center on a charcoal background. Curvy quilted lines add texture.

First project in 2025. I made it as a gift for a special person. It brought some joy to the recipient and also to me while making it.
It's 12" square and my own design.

Do you love cats too?
Fun fact the recipient's cat sat on the quilt while it was still in wrapping paper. ❤️

Tiny birds appliquéd to fabric or pieced with FPP technique. Ruler for comparison. 3 blocks are roughly 12.5" wide.

Thank you so much ❤️. I started the birds, but fell behind. Mine are 4" finished FPP and appliqué version. I my plan is to catch up till the end of the year. I have got six so far (first three months).

The picture shows a wall quilt with lots of different flowers on a grey and green background. There is a text embroidery saying: "Are you a wild flower?"

Here's a quilt I made based on the the 2023 wonderfil BOM. I made the FPP flowers half size and turned them into hexies. The overall design is my own. I love to give my projects a twist and mix lots of techniques.

I make them close together. I know that 12 stitces per inch are common. I make about 18 per inch.
