There seems to be a lot of irises named for other plant species. This one is 'Iris Moss', a standard dwarf bearded (SDB) variety from 1994. Striking coloration.

Newly-completed knitting project. Little baby bonnet for the nibling, done in light purple wool/cotton blend. It's not heavy so it isn't for winter, but would be good for early spring. This one gave me trouble. Or rather, the CAT made it give me trouble. He made me drop stitches SO MANY TIMES.🧶

OH OH OH SIR YOU NEED TO GO TO THIS PLACE! They have really REALLY good chocolate, and the store itself is fun! I and my roommate went to that one on our way to Botcon last year and it was fantastic.

Oh! It's The World's Simplest Mittens by Tin Can Knits! Another bluesky user told me about it and I decided to try it. It's fairly easy honestly, even with my bad hands.
