The rock thing kinda sounds like the random pitfalls in some of the ones I've played, which vary a lot between useful and annoying.

I think that's why I've kinda accepted i'll never continue/finish atelier firis. I adore the character and setting, but the time limit is just killing it for me. When I get back to the series, I'll just stick to ones without a timer from now on 😊 hoping the Ryza collection will be on sale sometime!
