We all feel completely and totally betrayed. What's worse, is they may lose again in 2026 because of this. Dem voters are going to think, "why should I vote at all when it doesn't mean anything." We've got another year of Trump wreaking havoc. We're gonna be awfully exhausted by then. SMDH.

Caving for nothing means that Democrats are the ones responsible for the shutdown because they could have taken this shit deal weeks ago.

To be clear: D senators trusting R senators who promise a vote on ACA subsidies at some future point is nothing more that a liar convincing a sucker. A sucker for believing the lie, and for believing that Johnson will ever bring it up in the House.

Schumer is spreading the word he was against the deal. But he is the leader. So he either tacitly let it happen or he failed as a leader. No excuse works for him. This is a fail.

It's like Chuck Schumer wakes up every day by asking "what can I do to make young people despise my party even more?"

What is happening in the Senate tonight is a travesty and betrayal for every person who depends on ACA subsidies.

When they brought it, they were given copper tokens to hang around their necks. Indians found without a copper token had their hands cut off and bled to death.
