That change did 2 things:
1. IDs into Day 2 were no longer effectively impossible and became relatively common again
2. It removed the incentive for early-round “gentlemen’s agreements”, since your first tie was no longer an effective loss

An Update to End-of-Round Procedures at Pokémon TCG Championship Events End-of-Round procedures are changing as part of the latest rulebook update.

Haven't seen it posted on Bluesky yet, so for the Pokémon TCG players here:
Starting at EUIC, we are back to time+3 turns (instead of time+1 as implemented this season), but with a time limit of 15 minutes (instead of 10).

Also, anti-shoutout to the store that scheduled their cup for the same day as this challenge. There aren’t a lot of leagues out here to begin with, so scheduling conflicts suck hard, and this challenge went up first

But this is apparently not the first time they’ve done something like this, so...

I was never winning this challenge thanks to there only being 4 Masters and one of them playing DuskPult, but I definitely didn’t help matters by throwing round 1 🙃
