If a homeowner goes without insurance, whatever the bank does isn’t going to save the homeowner in the event of a fire or other catastrophic loss. Best to keep paying your insurance premiums.

Been reading a lot of misinformation about insurance and fire. One thing came up about how if you have a mortgage but don’t get insurance, the bank (or note holder) will get insurance on the property.

I grew up in the Los Angeles area. Wildfires are nothing new. As a kid, I remember waking up in the morning and walking outside to see ashes falling outside like little flakes of snow. Johnny Carson joked about our four seasons consisting of Fire, Flood, Mud, and Drought.

While TFG distracts us with stupid chatter of Greenland and Panama, he’s going to hand off Ukraine, with its massive oil and gas reserves, to Putin. Not sure how a foreign policy of attacking our friends and empowering our enemies is going to put America first, but here we go. #politics
