Pile of 70 year old HVAC air returns.

Well the old ones are out and the pic doesn’t really show how clogged rheu were - even after being cleaned 18 months ago. They were on 4”x10”. Not the size needed for a modern HVAC.

Going to be hard to focus today while they replace the return air ducts in my crawl space. 60 years old, too small and too rotten. Lots of banging and clanging.

Am still in shock after an email from my dentists office that my dentist has passed away! He was just 2 years older than me. 😞

My best FT8 DX contacts come right before the sun goes boom. Got Qatar on 15w FT8, had to up to 20w to complete it.

Even though I am on call, am looking forward to the weekend - well outside of monitoring server patching that is.

Although my radio journey started at a young age, ended up doing public safety/commercial stuff for several years before moving into IT. I have been a Ham now for 4 years, General for 3. Guess I need to get the Extra.
