Im not sure if these scribbles have even seen the light of day, thinking about it. They feel so old now...

Sure, I don't always want to see media with romance in it. But I'm not here to make it anyone's problem, or even speak up about it normally. Just... I'm also wondering where people's feelings about this come from.

I don't dislike guys and gals being together, I just... wish I could be as out in the open about stuff that feels true to me as most heteronormative relationships can be. IRL, online, in media... And sometimes seeing them is just a reminder that I can't really do that.

For me it's envy. Some couples are too cute for me not to like anyway. But - and I say this knowing full well I'm being irrational - it can be hard to get over the resentment that's built up in me over years and years of being looked down upon. Sometimes old grudges muddle my ability to like things.
