Man it is tough… Feels like theres always still so much to learn but it’s a great thing to always be open to learning more vs the alternative lol I think your plan sounds like a good one.. You know your self best and you know you need time to feel ready 😌

… My biggest hold up is i know I gotta harness my anger to assert myself and address it but if I am too angry I feel like I blew up a little bit and it just starts a fight lol

That is so great you know what you want to work out about yourself like that.. I feel like sometimes things go so fast that it’s hard to know what to say but then I get this feeling that I won’t be able to live with myself if I don’t confront what they said. And its a lot to figure out really quick…

But hey, at least you know you did everything you can do and you have an answer so that’s all a win 🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh yes talking about it is such a smart way to go. I feel like everyone just ghosts these days Lol In my experience if I bring it up lovingly they either give a heartfelt sorry and then that’s a great relationship in the making, but more often they go on the offensive so that’s not working out lol..

(Maybe you’ve heard of this but one thing that always helped me with a weird critique is that sometimes what a person said says more about them than about your art lol Like maybe she thinks all lines must be perfectly mathematically straight, but obviously that’s way to restrictive lol)

Oh man, like where do I begin? lol I once had a woman ask me to describe myself, like who I am as a person.. I was reluctant but gave it a try. We were on a walk and going up hill. I literally couldnt breathe trying to squeeze it all in. Then she was PISSED that I didn’t ask her more about herself
