This film was a real head-turner!

I have to teach a class tonight, so we celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday. For dinner I made fillet mignon medallions with Gorgonzola sauce and Caesar salad. Our cocktail was a French 75, and for dessert, a carrot cake and a strawberry cake with Ghirardelli chocolate from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Yum!

Legendary artist HR Giger would have been 85 years old today. I’ve been a lifelong fan of his biomechanical art, and meeting with him at his home in Zurich to discuss Dark Seed II is one of my most cherished memories.

Now that the other Los Angeles fires have been largely contained, a new fire just broke out near our house. It went from 50 acres to over 3000 acres in an hour.
