Thanks. Yes, very much so in a Bury St Edmunds context. It's from the martyrdom of Kind Edmund, last king of the East Angles. It depicts a wolf as a divine guardian of the king's severed head after the pagan Vikings captured and decapitated him following their victory in 869.
