rough sketch of classic sonic fan redesigns of emerl, e-121 phi, and gemerl. the pose is the same- it's clear the phi and gemerl are edits of the emerl drawing. emerl mostly looks like his finished design- an orange robot- but some details are different, and there's a note showing how his forehead lens can open and he glows when so. the phi is greyscaled from emerl, but has different eyes and simpler arms and an eggman logo instead of the forehead lens. gemerl is emerl in tones of black and yellow accents, with rounder eyes and a detailed forehead crest with an always uncovered lens

dunno when I'm gonna actually do any of these as finished drawings so here's the prelim rough sketches
