I was working with several children in custody in 2020. It was just awful for them. Unless they chose to phone me (one child did; multiple times each day) I had no idea how they were.

These numbers are heartbreaking.

And then the recommendations of the inquiry very likely won’t be implemented.

When is this going to stop? These children deserve so much more. And councils need to be spending that money on so many other resources.

Absolutely! It’s amazing that they’ve even turned up to try and fit a tag let alone report a ‘breach’ of it; not my current experience of EMS.
