I haven't been on much lately, but I am still cheering you on in the background! I hope your days off the internet are productive.

Nothing like getting a piece of crunchy food stuck in an area you can't reach by finger or tongue. 😩 So annoying.

Goodness, it's been a long time since I've posted on here.

I just got home from LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas. It was a ton of fun, but my whole body feels like lead today. 😆 Definitely need to get a bit more in shape so standing for an hour or two doesn't kill my feet. (If that's possible!)

I love this book so much. One of the few books I reread front to back and not just skim my favorite parts. ❤️

I think I’ll try that in March, take the first week or so away from the internet. Just check my emails and that’s it. It’s just been… a lot. 😩

That could be a factor now. The US is struggling atm. Even if my own day to day hasn’t changed, I know it’s only a matter of time with those two “in charge.” 🙄 Maybe I need a detox from online for a week or two to stop the doom scrolling.

I am starting to be annoyed that I'm still in a reading slump. I have books to read and no energy to do so. Every time I pick up a book I can only read a few pages before I find myself drifting off. I used to be able to read a book in a day. Why can't I do that anymore? 😭

I am just a bit chaotic and the most I do is group the authors works together, haha.

I have three shelves currently. I had more but over the last year (and what led me to accidentally breaking that mini shelf) I’ve been unhauling books.

She is a bit of a camera hog and loves to photo bomb my pictures. I have many with her peeping in the background. 😆

Though she did give your book a good sniff to make sure it wasn’t a treat beforehand.

I can see why you are jealous! I used to order my books by last name, but now I have them in order of favorites and K. V. Johansen’s series is my all time favorite so it is of course first.

Though I will forever be annoyed that Blackdog is so much bigger than the others in the series!

I keep putting out the hope that one day they will get reprinted with matching sizes, lol.

Faint hope, but one there none the less.

I used to have the Caravan books on their own little mini shelf, but I broke it last year. 😩 One day they will have their own little section again. With some acorn decor, I think. 🤔

I got my copy of The Wolf and the Wild King ( @kvjohansen.bsky.social ) in the mail yesterday.

It has found a place of honor among my collection.

I think I’m going to switch to reading the book physically. My eyes are struggling with reading on the kindle. 😩

I woulda thought the sewing would be the hardest part.

Been working on healing myself in a creative sense. I let a lot of the talk of those around me smother any spark I had when I was a child.

I felt tears in my eyes yesterday when I finished a sketch and realized I had *fun.* The creativity and joy is still there, I just haven’t been nurturing it.

My friend and I are really enjoying the series. I can understand why some are unhappy with it, but for me it’s been great. Sure some episodes are better than others, but we certainly have lots to talk about during and after each episode. And that’s all I need from it. 😆

I don’t understand why cellphone makers have stopped giving us the outlet brick you need for the usb cord. Not everyone has a computer, even in this day and age. Not only that but every new phone has a different wattage or whatever the brick needs to be to even charge properly! So just give us one!
