The fact that my nose piercing has closed up after 2 years being pierced and refusal to heal is wild. My body just does NOT like piercings. This is my second one and it went just like the first, refused to heal. Ear piercings the same. It was so cute too. I miss it 😪

8 months later.. I finally stared reading again last night. My first read is called "The Ancient One" by T.A. Barron. Fitting.

Not many can do this very well. Beyoncé does it exceptionally well. She really is in a class of her own. A Master Artist in Music. And not just in lyrics. Vocals, technical ability, themes, story. It’s a true body of work. I am so grateful to be here to witness her greatness and further ascendancy

I think music is an art and the lyrics is like your skill with the brush. Anyone can be painter but not everyone is an artist. Beyoncé is an artist. Rihanna is a painter for example. Beyoncé makes you think. There is message to be decoded. As an intellect I enjoy the mental gymnastics of good music

She makes you really think about the words and it’s not always immediately clear that she’s talking about sex. I like that. Compare to Rihanna’s songs. Not much lyrical art to Rihanna’s songs. They don’t make you think and clutch your pearls at what you just sang out loud and felt with your chest 😅

I’m not saying anything wrong with sexual songs but the way Halle talks about it is more my vibe. You can still talk about sex without being vulgar or overly explicit. More….tasteful and lyrical. Beyoncé does a good job of this too.

For some reason, I enjoy Chloe’s features more than I enjoy her solo projects and I have no idea why. I listened to her album with Halle as duo and enjoy her alternative sound much better than the RnB/hiphop vibe she has now. It’s unique and is a much better sound for her.

Honestly I think Chloe is an amazing vocalist and has potential to be a great performer but there’s something about her that feels forced. She tries too hard. She doesn’t need to really try but she forces it and it’s just too much. Halle has a relaxed air that makes her songs hit.

Chloe’s songs are too sexually charged and talks of too much toxicity and dysfunction. I’m over it. Halle talks about that deep love (In Your Hands) and affirmations (Angel) and that love that makes you slightly crazy and obsessive (Because I love you) And I’m a sucker for love and affirmations.

Two things. Can someone tell me why Halle be making these snippets of a song???😤 All her songs be so good but so annoying short.
2. When is my good sis gonna drop an album?
I honestly prefer her music to Chloe’s and need an album STAT!
