I don’t think that there are very many research scientists that are tRump fanatics, definitely not enough of them to fill the vacancies. Not all that have left had much of a choice. While you are a civil servant you remain neutral politically. If you leave you can be a stronger voice.

Part of our problem is that everyone lives in their own information bubbles. Disinformation runs rampant and will only get worse with social media giving in to the pressure not to try to combat it.

A nuthatch. Best to put it in a box with a towel. The dark will keep it calm so that it can recover. Also allows you to release when it is ready. Do not try to feed or give water.
