Yeah it's difficult to replace fb, other platforms simply don't have everyone on there or all the features like groups and events. I've been using it less and less so I'm at the point where maybe I can deal without those things.

It doesn't have to be a long summary, just a sentence to indicate context. Usually the article title works.

I haven't done it myself (it takes a lot of skill I don't yet have), but it always amazes me to see a carefully spliced set of fiber optic cables. It feels inspiring in a similar way that traditional art does to my techie little heart 💙

My gut tells me the big company might be Amazon, but that is just speculation.

I do propose, however, that given chainmail links typically start in a single strand of aluminum and are cut into rings before weaving, that chainmail crafting could be a fiber art!

My feeling is no because the human part of the craft has very little to do with manipulating and weaving fibers.

I feel like if we only pick the 10 states that are most likely to be a close race, we shouldn't act all surprised Pikachu when the exit polls show a little over half of voters voted for Trump. And then to say that represents every state without context is misleading.

I am but I have queer family and friends in the US and we're on track to follow suit in about 11 months. It's not hyperbole, all data indicates our "maple MAGA" party will win and they have the same playbook as Trump.
