Good to see, a couple of Shrill Carder Bees during a vegetation monitoring visit to Margam Landfill site (a capped landfill with an artificial dune system on top of it!), feeding on Yellow-rattle and Selfheal. Also recently hatched Ringed Plovers, scoring highly on the cuteness scale π.

Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems are designed to manage surface water runoff in a way that mimics natural drainage.
A wide choice range of native wildflower species are used in SUDS projects.

On Earth Day, it was great to create a multi-purpose refuge for wildlife, which included:- hedgehog home, bee hotel, reptile/amphibian/small mammal crevice chambers & a Wheatear nest box.

Using blast furnace slag at Festival Fields, Llanelli, to increase the diversity of native plants for nature conservation.
Due to the substrate being used, this area will also act as a carbon capture area.
