My only beef with him is that he was part of the Dem 8 that voted to reopen the government. Otherwise, he’s a standup guy. And he absolutely doesn’t deserve to have his rank & retirement pay docked for using the 1st Amendment, something he’s defended & protected.

Always follow the money.

Maduro was/is a terrible person, but this was land & oil grab, pure & simple.

I won’t either. It makes the fact that I got to see the musical “& Juliet” @ the Kennedy Center back in 12/2024 that much more meaningful.

A friend my husband & I knew for 30+ years suddenly passed away today. He & his wife have been together since their teens more than 4 decades. I still can’t believe it. My heart is heavy for the immeasurable grief his wife & family are experiencing. He was a very good person. RIP GAV.

Thanksgiving for me growing up meant my grandma had the day off to spend w/us. She raised us w/o help from our deadbeat parents. Years later, she’d come to my house & we’d argue about bathing the turkey every year & I’d remind her it spreads germs. It was my favorite holiday because I got to 1/🦋
