How long before people use it to make false criminal activity? How long before real evidence on criminal activity is discarded because nobody can tell if it's AI generated or not? It's all just so incredibly dangerous.

Yeah, it may be funny when *you* use AI to make a funny cat video that looks completely real, and specifically clarify it's AI. But what about everyone who *don't* clarify it's AI? How long before anything reputable is destroyed by fabrications?

Like, forget using real people, even. What if I was to make a AI video of natural animal behaviour, and pass it off as being real? And it *looks* completely real? What happens when fiction and reality can no longer be told apart because people use it to tell lies?

Which isn't even mentioning the people making animations of copyrighted material, or those making videos of literal fucking dead people not consenting to their likeness being used. Just burn it all to the ground, honestly.

I don't know, man. I just feel like if people can use this to portray real people doing things they that they wouldn't, any "benefit" from AI technology is sharply outweighed by those who could use it maliciously.

Seriously though, shouldn't there be laws against utilizing AI generation to portray real people doing things that they didn't do? Sora 2 is blowing up on *that other site*, and some of the results are almost completely indistinguishable from reality, it's terrifying.

Hear me out guys. I think the benefits of AI generation are overwhelmingly outweighed by its detractors. Shocking revelation, I know.
