I can only say, communication. Tell her your concerns. Why you are concerned. Tell her you can't stop her and just let her make mistakes. It's all you really can do. Be supportive so not to push them away but as in any adult relationships, communication is always key.

Where I do feel for them as no one deserves the insecurity, they are the ones that need to find better representatives. All the reps from Kentucky to DC are Republican voting for the Republican values, sadly.

IMHO the progressives need to rewrite the constitution. Place in it the changes over the past 100 years. Obviously the current one isn't clear enough for the boomers in office now.
