The SaskNDP were ecstatic to be part of the 2025 Saskatoon Pride Parade on June 22nd, which accentuates a week-long festival. The theme, “Pride, Not Prejudice,” resonated deeply as thousands marched & observed in support of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community!

Deeply saddened and frustrated to learn that the #PrairieLily is canceled for the summer — a huge loss for Saskatoon tourism and local businesses.
I warned the Sask. Party of this possibility in May. They did nothing.

Some exciting news: I am pleased to announce that I have been appointed Shadow Minister of 2SLGBTQ Affairs, a newly created position in Carla Beck’s Government-in-Waiting.

Proud to continue to represent my community in this capacity!

Yesterday evening I had the opportunity to lay a wreath on behalf of the Saskatchewan NDP at the Saskatoon and District Labour Councils annual Day of Mourning Ceremony in Saskatoon, honouring those who lost their lives in the workplace.

Hands off my post office!

Met with the Saskatoon leadership of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers to hear about their “Hands Off My Post Office” campaign.

The goal of the campaign:

- Stop the privatization of public services like Canada Post

- Enhance Canada Post services coast to coast to coast

Since being elected as the MLA for Saskatoon Meewasin, I have been hearing concerns from residents of King Edward about cleanliness and security.

We have repeatedly written to the minister of social services on these issues.

Yesterday we joined seniors in calling on the govt to take action now!

I was honoured to present a petition calling on the Sask Party government to repeal #Bill137

2SLGBTQI+ youth already face high rates of homelessness, self-harm, & suicide. They need a safe & supported education & Bill137 takes away that last vestige of support.

Today we moved an emergency motion denouncing Trump's comments on our sovereignty.

The Sask Party gutted our motion and removed all reference to Trump.

Moe has refused to condemn the US President at every chance. He and his caucus are weak when it comes to Trump. #skpoli

The Saskatchewan NDP is proud to stand for Canada against any and all threats.

We will never be the 51st state.

The Sask Party govt has stripped our motion condemning Donald Trump, prioritizing their political allies over standing up for SK.

We introduced it to reaffirm Saskatchewan’s commitment to a strong and united Canada while condemning Trump for attacks on our economy and threats to our sovereignty.

You deserve a government that’s focused on you and focused on the future.

The 25/26 Budget has nothing in it for workers as we stare down tariffs that will be devastating for Canadian workers, businesses and industries.

Nothing for workers, and cuts to education and healthcare. You deserve better.

The Sask. Party’s budget, released today is not focused on the future.

In fact, it’s not even based in reality.

This budget has no plan for our economy and pretends the last three months haven’t happened.
